a term used to describe impaired vision problems that cannot be corrected with surgery, medical treatment, standard glasses or contact lenses.

A functional vision evaluation by an Occupational Therapist is available and covered by Medicare. Product purchased are not covered by medicare.

Functional eye exams offered by local optometrists
Training on the use of vision aids offered by occupational therapist- in the Center and home.
Both of the above services covered by Medicare benefits.
